How Long Can I Volunteer For?

The minimum period of time for volunteering is 1 week. However, there are also 2, 3 and 4 week programs available. See the Fees Section for details about each programs length.

Can I Just Turn Up and Volunteer?

No, we require advance warning for all volunteers. This is so we can make sure there is space available in your chosen program, provide a background check, collect a deposit, and make all necessary arrangements.

Do I Need to Bring Money?

Yes. All volunteers should bring additional money to spend in their free time or for food/services that are not included in their chosen program.

How Do I Get to the Volunteer Location?

Transportation is included with the fee for all courses. Please mention your arrival date when applying for a volunteer position and we will help to arrange transportation to the location.

Can I Bring a Laptop?

Yes, of course! Many of our accommodations feature free Wi-Fi so you can use your computer to keep in touch with people at home.

What Vaccinations Do you Recommend?

We recommend three vaccinations:

·         Hepatitis A

·         Hepatitis B

·         Japanese Encephalitis
