We offer weekly seminars which are free and open to anyone on a number of subjects that are key to our progress as a society and as individuals.  The presentations will be in Thai and English.  We hope to stimulate conversation and progress in individuals, communities and organizations with the information provided in these seminars.  Please join us.  Our presentations will focus on the importance of the following topics:

Moral Values.  Most education currently lacks focus on moral values.  These seminars will discuss the value of educators and leaders guiding youth towards values such as compassion, hard work, honesty, and cooperation and methods to achieve those goals.  We will also discuss the development of empathy as youth grow and its importance in creating a just and fair society.

Personal Growth.  We all have room to grow.  Anyone who is interested in improving quality of life, employ ability, self awareness or self esteem for themselves or for other others through their position as a teacher, mentor or community leader can benefit from learning more about methods to help people grow and achieve their personal goals and aspirations.

Humane Education. Humane education uses experiential and service based learning to encourage children to be compassionate towards all animals, human and non-human.  This is more important now than ever to ensure that Thailand's youth have a sense of stewardship over the planet's non-human inhabitants, both domesticated and wild, which are currently threatened by human cruelty, exploitation, or habitat destruction.

Environmental Awareness. Promotion of environmental awareness is key to our overall goal of helping to create a beautiful and sustainable Thailand.  Educating the public on the fragility and irreplaceability of the natural environmental, its importance to their health and well being, and the intrinsic value of its non-human inhabitants, can help foster a sense of duty and stewardship towards the natural world.

Wildlife Awareness. It's crucial to cultivate awareness and knowledge of wildlife behavior to avoid human-animal conflict which can otherwise lead to property damage or injury or death for animals or humans. This is especially true in Thailand because of our incredible biodiversity which includes many animals that can come into potentially dangerous contact with humans, such as monkeys or elephants.

We welcome you to join or participate in volunteer speakers and interpreters for this seminar.  If you are interested in this opportunity please send us a short video of you speaking or presenting.  Go to vacancies for information on applying.

These program are free and open to everyone. This class is given in Thai and English.

Mindfulness Meditation is a practise which is becoming more and more essential in today’s busy world. Taken from traditions in Buddhist teachings, mindfulness is the practise of developing self-wisdom, for both yourself and the environment, to gradually lead towards a freedom of suffering, known as “Enlightenment”

Mediation is about bringing attention to each and every sense in your body, from the sensations of breathing in one’s nostrils to the gentle movements of the abdomen when inhaling and exhaling. It is natural for your mind to wander during this practise, but the key is to recognize this, accept it non-judgmentally, and return to your focus.

Join our  meditators on our weekly ‘Evening Meditation‘ program

There’s no dress code. Please consider dressing in a conservative, modest manner.  Casual clothing is generally appropriate. Please avoid short shorts and revealing tops. If you plan to sit on a meditation cushion, you will be more comfortable in loose clothes. We also have chairs for those who prefer them.

Let us know if you like to join or volunteer interested in meditation instructor for this class.
